LOGOS
Goldie’s Fish Emporium
In one of my Graphic Communications classes the professor assigned an extensive branding/design project that involved the creation of a logo for a fictional business. The business I was tasked with had a goldfish as a mascot, which I used for the inspiration of this logo. In fact, I hand-drew the goldfish (nicknamed Finny, short for Phineas) featured in this logo when sketching some initial ideas and designs and decided that I just HAD to use him in my final design!
MSU Ads Club
While performing my duties as the elected treasurer of this organization, I was also asked to design a logo that current and future members would proudly wear and represent for club functions and events. With the support of my fellow officers and club members, I created this logo, which was then used for the club's graduation stoles and will be incorporated into future club memorabilia and advertising.
Painted Frog Co.
The inception and development of this logo began when a close friend of mine sarcastically questioned my skills as a designer. Never one to back down from a challenge and wanting to gauge my own limits at the time, I asked them to give me a random logo idea that I would personally create for them free of charge. My friend, a bit stunned but also feeling bold, told me to create a logo with a frog in a cup. A short time later I sent them an email without a subject line and only this logo attached. They thought it was so hilarious that they actually had this logo printed on a flag that is currently hanging up in their dorm room!
ICONS
Stars and Moon Emblem/Icon
A friend of mine commissioned me for an emblem/icon that could be used on their personal website. After weeks of discussion and revision, we created this design which they used on their website as a button that redirected to their home page. They have since updated their website and, while this icon is no longer used, I gained valuable experience in working closely with a client in order to bring their vision(s) to life!
