The Graphic Communications and Advertising curriculums require students to complete a final/senior project where they can demonstrate what they learned throughout their college education. A business, company, or brand, typically one that works closely with the University, can volunteer to be the client that graduating students within the JMC (Journalism and Mass Communications) Department will use for their final/senior project. Coincidentally, the JMC Department had decided to begin rebranding when my team and I were working on our final/senior project. With my involvement in the JMC sponsored Ads Club, I petitioned for project students to use the JMC Department as our client and both the professor overseeing the project and the department chairman were thrilled at the idea and readily agreed. As a part of this project, my team proposed that the department could hand out brochures, such as the ones shown, to prospective students that contained necessary information about the department and potential curriculums.
